What's Happening?
The U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control has imposed sanctions on six additional liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carriers linked to Iran's petroleum industry. This action is part of ongoing efforts to curb Iran's ability to export oil and gas products
in violation of international sanctions. The vessels sanctioned include MD 23, Glendale, Amir Gas, Gas Lagoon, Mile, and Gaz GMS, which have been involved in transporting Iranian LPG since as early as 2020.
