Photographer Ron Timehin has been shortlisted for the Sony World Photography Awards 2026 for his project documenting communities in Accra, Ghana. The project, initiated by the charity My Runway Group, involved Timehin visiting five communities to capture
portraits that celebrate the local culture and environment. His work includes both environmental portraits and studio-style images, highlighting the daily lives and pride of the Ghanaian people. The project aims to foster cultural exchange between the UK and Ghana, with plans to sell prints to fund community projects such as an art center. Timehin's exhibition will be held at Somerset House in London from April 17 to May 4, 2026.
