Blenda M. Boothby, a dedicated community servant, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Fairport on April 23, 2026, at the age of 75. Born in Hornell, NY, in 1950, Blenda devoted her career to serving
her community through roles at the Hornell Public Library and Steuben-Alleghany BOCES. In retirement, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren. Blenda was known for her generosity and commitment to causes such as food insecurity and cancer research. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and other family members. A memorial service is scheduled for May 16th at the Anthony Funeral Chapel in Rochester, NY.
