In June, local foster youth and teens enrolled in San Diego County's Independent Living Skills program celebrated their high school graduation at SeaWorld San Diego. The event, attended by 70 graduates and their families, marked a significant achievement
for these young individuals who have overcome various challenges. The celebration included a stage walk, a buffet lunch, and surprise visits from penguins and sloths. The county's program supports foster youth in developing skills for self-sufficiency, including housing, education, and employment resources.
