Ethiopia is collaborating with China to enhance its workforce in the electric vehicle (EV) sector. A recent training program, hosted by Shangqiu Polytechnic in China, focused on new energy vehicle (NEV)
technology for Ethiopian instructors. This initiative is part of Ethiopia's broader strategy to expand its electric mobility sector, reduce reliance on imported fuels, and support industrial upgrading. The program combined classroom instruction with hands-on technical sessions, aiming to address gaps in practical skills and teaching methods necessary for Ethiopia's emerging NEV industry.
