What's Happening?
The WeChat Intelligence Hub is an open-source project designed to convert local WeChat chat histories into a searchable, verifiable, and actionable personal intelligence system. This system, developed
by Rion-Wu-tech, aims to provide users with features such as contact history, group chat topics, pending replies, commitments, business opportunities, and follow-up clues, all within a specified timeframe. The project emphasizes a 'local-first' approach, meaning it processes data on the user's device to enhance privacy and security. It does not send messages or operate the WeChat user interface, and it explicitly states that chat data, contact information, profiles, databases, and output reports should not be committed to Git, ensuring user data remains private. The current version, v0.9.2-preview.2, offers a read-only data input and intelligence workflow, complete with executable entry points, boundaries, tests, and fully virtualized examples. Users are required to provide authorized local databases and access materials for full historical and real-time data reading, as the public code does not extract keys from the WeChat process, nor does it re-sign, inject, or hook WeChat.

If these documents are not yet available, running `profile-init` will generate a local readiness checklist. The system will still generate general reports before full personalization, but these will be marked as unpersonalized. The project also supports generating comprehensive daily reports in both Markdown and interactive HTML formats, allowing for global search, segmented navigation, and topic-based daily reports. Future developments may include further enhancements to its AI capabilities and integration with other local data sources, while maintaining its strict privacy and security protocols.
