What's Happening?
Boston Logan International Airport is launching a pilot program that allows passengers to clear security at a remote location 22 miles from the airport. This initiative, set to begin on June 1 and run through the end of August, is designed to streamline
the travel process for Delta Air Lines and JetBlue passengers. The new facility is located near the Framingham, Massachusetts park-and-ride terminal for Logan Express, the airport's shuttle bus service. Passengers will be able to check their bags and go through security at this remote site before being transported directly to the airside gate at the airport. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will staff the Framingham checkpoint, and PreCheck will be accepted.
