The SOCARENAM-MAURIC consortium has commenced construction of a next-generation offshore patrol vessel (OPV) for the Directorate General for Maritime Affairs, Fisheries and Aquaculture (DGAMPA) in France. The steel cutting ceremony took place on September 18, 2025, at SOCARENAM's shipyard in Boulogne-Sur-Mer, marking the transition from design to construction.
