Robert Lee Stricker, known as Bob, passed away peacefully at his home in Naperville, Illinois, at the age of 87 due to heart failure. Born in 1938, Bob had a rich life filled with family, work, and hobbies. He served in the Naval Reserves and worked as a cost accountant at Caterpillar for 31 years, where he developed a gold standard cost accounting model. Bob was passionate about model airplanes and fishing, often traveling to Canada for fishing trips. He is survived by his wife Marian, six sons, and several grandchildren. A visitation and Celebration of Life are scheduled for September 20, 2025, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home in Naperville.
