Renault has achieved a new milestone in electric vehicle efficiency with its Filante Record 2025 demo car, which traveled 1,008 km without recharging. The test took place at UTAC’s circuit in Morocco, where the vehicle maintained an average speed of 102
km/h. The car, weighing 1,000 kg, utilized an 87 kW/h battery, similar to the production Scenic E-Tech electric model, and recorded a consumption rate of 7.8 kW/h per 100 km. The vehicle's design includes advanced features such as steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire systems, carbon fiber construction, and custom low-rolling-resistance tires. Renault's efforts focused on reducing the vehicle's drag coefficient and optimizing its aerodynamics.
