The Bread and Butter Thing (TBBT), a food charity, has successfully delivered almost 100,000 meals to families in Kirklees over the past year. This initiative has provided significant financial relief, saving these families an estimated £740,000. TBBT operates
through 10 hubs located in schools, community centers, and church halls, focusing on making everyday essentials affordable. The charity supports over 8,500 members in the borough, with 80% of its food packs consisting of fresh fruits, vegetables, and chilled produce. The organization aims to promote healthy eating while reducing food waste and fostering community connections.
