Phoenix International has successfully assisted the US Navy in recovering an MH-60R helicopter and an F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter aircraft from the South China Sea. The aircraft went down during routine
operations off the USS NIMITZ on October 26, 2025. Phoenix personnel mobilized search and recovery assets from Singapore, utilizing advanced technology such as towed pinger locators and side scan sonar to locate the aircraft. The recovery was completed on December 5, 2025, despite challenging conditions, marking a significant achievement in maritime recovery operations.
