Beverly and Dereck Joubert, renowned conservationists and photographers, survived a life-threatening buffalo attack in Botswana in 2017. Despite the ordeal, which left Beverly with severe injuries, the couple has intensified their efforts in wildlife
conservation. They have documented animal behaviors and landscapes in Southern Africa for over 40 years, producing numerous films and photographs. Their work includes capturing unique wildlife interactions and advocating for conservation through initiatives like Great Plains Conservation, which manages over 1.5 million acres and supports local economies.
