What's Happening?
Germany's first Eurofighter from the Quadriga program successfully completed its maiden flight on July 14, 2026. The aircraft, a single-seat model with the registration 34+02, was tested by Airbus Defence & Space at their Manching assembly site near Munich.
The flight involved rigorous testing of the jet's flight characteristics, engine performance, and various systems, all of which performed flawlessly. This Eurofighter is part of a larger order placed in 2020, which includes 30 single-seat and eight two-seat aircraft, with deliveries expected to begin later this year and continue through 2030.
