What's Happening?
The Naperville Vegan Chef Challenge has announced its winners, with more than 450 people voting for the best vegan dishes. Lucky Penny Diner won first place and the best brunch award, while Manna Kitchen received the best dessert award for its vegan strawberry
tres leches cake. The competition, hosted by Vegan Outreach, aimed to promote vegan lifestyles and make vegan options more accessible. Additionally, over 30 students have been selected to serve on various Naperville city boards and commissions, participating in a leadership academy sponsored by KidsMatter.
