Amazon has unveiled plans to develop a new nuclear facility in Washington State, aiming to enhance carbon-free energy production. The company has partnered with Energy Northwest to support the development
of up to 12 advanced reactors by the early 2030s. The Cascade Advanced Energy Facility, as it is called, will feature small, modular reactors designed to be more cost-effective and easier to deploy than traditional nuclear plants.
