Minister for Information Technology and Industries, D. Sridhar Babu, has extended an invitation to Malaysian companies to invest in Telangana's burgeoning semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sectors. This invitation was made during a meeting with
a high-level delegation from Penang, Malaysia, led by Deputy Chief Minister YB Jagdeep Singh Deo, at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in semiconductors, electronics manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and human capital development. Telangana is positioning itself as a major hub for semiconductor design and electronics manufacturing, with proactive initiatives to attract global investments and create a robust industrial ecosystem. The state offers significant opportunities in sectors such as semiconductors, life sciences, biotechnology, clean energy, aerospace, defense, and precision engineering.
