Sault Ste. Marie High School secured a decisive victory over North Central in the WNMU-TV High School Bowl, winning with a score of 330-50. This win advances them to a match against Marquette on February
7. The High School Bowl is a competitive quiz show featuring 36 schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin. The series, which runs from November to April, is broadcast on WNMU-TV and the Michigan Learning Channel. Sault Ste. Marie's team, coached by Kim Badenski, includes students Braesyn Hering, Cora Sommers, Nathaniel Sommers, and Eleanor Maloney.
