In response to a resurgence of antisemitism and racism, civil rights veteran Rev. Dr. Benjamin Franklin Chavis Jr. and filmmaker Dr. Shari Rogers are working to rekindle the historical alliance between Black and Jewish communities in America. Their efforts
are centered around the documentary 'Shared Legacies' and the organization Spill the Honey, which aim to educate and remind both communities of their shared history in the Civil Rights Movement.
