The 137th annual Emancipation Day Celebration is taking place in Hutchinson, featuring a series of events that honor freedom, unity, and community. The day begins with the Emancipation Day Parade, which starts at 10 a.m. from B and Main Streets. Following
the parade, a community picnic will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, offering free food, games, and entertainment. The celebration concludes with the Old School Dance at the same venue, open to adults 21 and older.
