Ahold Delhaize USA has announced plans to construct a state-of-the-art distribution center in Burlington, North Carolina. The $860 million facility will be developed by ADUSA Distribution and ADUSA Transportation,
subsidiaries of Ahold Delhaize USA. This new center is set to enhance the supply chain network for Ahold Delhaize's grocery brands on the East Coast, including Food Lion. The facility will span over one million square feet and is designed to improve the distribution of fresh and frozen grocery items to stores, thereby increasing efficiency and capacity.
