was driving a 2025 Chevrolet Trax westbound when his vehicle was struck by a 2016 GMC Terrain, driven by Alvaro Uriber, 33, of Columbus. Investigators determined that Uriber's GMC Terrain, traveling eastbound, veered off the right side of the road, overcorrected, crossed into the westbound lanes after overturning, and then collided with Lyon's vehicle before catching fire. Lyon was transported to Fairfield Medical Center, where he later died. A passenger in the Chevrolet Trax, Abrielle Kerns, 23, of Lancaster, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Mount Carmel East Hospital. Uriber received minor injuries and was transported to Fairfield Medical Center. Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
