Nanyang Polytechnic has been awarded the Singapore Human Resource Development of the Year - Higher Education at the GovMedia Conference & Awards 2026. This recognition comes as a result of the institution's comprehensive workforce transformation initiative.

Nanyang Polytechnic implemented a new methodology called SPAR2K, designed to guide staff from problem identification to solution development. The integration of generative artificial intelligence into daily operations saved over 28,000 hours and enhanced the teaching and learning experience. Additionally, the institution hosted an Innovation Carnival, engaging over 3,000 learners in hands-on experiences to promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
