The measles outbreak in Spartanburg County has expanded with nine new cases, bringing the total to 135. The South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) confirmed these cases, with five linked to the Way of Truth Church in Inman, three to household
exposures, and one to a neighborhood exposure. A new school exposure has been reported at Berry Shoals Elementary in Duncan, resulting in 44 students being quarantined. The outbreak has led to 168 people being quarantined and one person in isolation.
