Braylon Outlaw from Pike Road High School won the boys' poll with 78.66% of the votes, totaling 4,811 votes. Avery Sadler from Montgomery Catholic High School won the girls' poll with 58.49% of the votes, totaling 2,962 votes. Outlaw's performance included rushing for 98 yards and scoring three touchdowns from the wildcat formation during Pike Road's game against Opelika. Sadler's achievements included catching nine passes for 87 yards, scoring one touchdown, and intercepting a pass during the same week. The Athlete of the Week polls are based on nominations from top performers in the previous week, with voting open from Monday to Thursday and winners announced on Fridays.
