The Roswell Police Department recently conducted a five-day operation targeting retail crime, which led to 29 arrests and the recovery of approximately $6,184 in stolen merchandise. This operation was part of a national effort to combat retail theft.
The RPD Crime Reduction Team collaborated with other officers, agents, and local businesses' Store Asset Protection Teams to identify individuals involved in shoplifting and related criminal activities. The operation underscored the importance of partnership, intelligence sharing, proactive policing, and coordinated enforcement, allowing law enforcement to effectively identify offenders, recover stolen property, and hold those responsible accountable.
