Sweden, Germany, and UK to Roll Out Jointly Procured BvS10 ATVs in September

Sweden, Germany, and the UK are set to roll out BvS10 all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) on September 16, 2025, as part of a joint procurement effort. The vehicles, manufactured by BAE Systems Hägglunds, will be unveiled at the company's facility in Örnsköldsvik. This initiative follows a framework agreement signed in December 2022, which involves the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) as the central purchasing body. The agreement, valid until December 2029 with an option to extend until 2032, includes a first purchase order valued at USD 760 million for 436 BvS10s. The distribution of these vehicles will see 236 units delivered to Sweden, 140 to Germany, and 60 to the UK. The BvS10s will be based on the latest version in Swedish service and will include variants for troop transport, logistics, medical evacuation, recovery, and command-and-control.
