Parietal Lab, led by developer Grant Hinkson, is set to release 'Constellations: Touch the Stars' in early access this December. This augmented reality experience allows users to explore the night sky
through a 'connect the dots' format, featuring all 88 constellations recognized by the International Astronomical Union. The application utilizes a 'hands-first' design philosophy, incorporating hand tracking and thumb tap motions to interact with the constellations. The immersive environment adapts to the user's location, displaying relevant constellations. Additional features planned for future updates include a mixed reality stargazing mode, social stargazing capabilities, and a 'lie-back' mode for a more relaxed viewing experience. The early access version will be available on Meta Quest 3/3S, with pre-early access builds accessible via the official Discord server.
