What's Happening?
Amsa Hospitality and Radisson Hotel Group have announced a new project to develop hotel apartments and villas in Riyadh's Diplomatic Quarter. This initiative, unveiled at the Future Hospitality Summit Saudi Arabia, is part of the Radisson Individuals
brand and aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's goals of introducing globally recognized names to the Saudi capital. The project will cover approximately 40,000 square meters and include 240 modern units, comprising duplex apartments, one- to three-bedroom apartments, and villas. The development will also feature a retail plaza, dining outlets, sports and leisure facilities, and a clubhouse. The location is strategically placed near key landmarks such as the Cultural Palace and the King Abdulaziz Conference Center. The project is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Why It's Important?
This development is significant as it reflects the ongoing efforts to diversify Saudi Arabia's economy and enhance its hospitality sector, a key component of Saudi Vision 2030. By attracting international brands like Radisson, the project aims to boost tourism and business travel, contributing to economic growth. The location in the Diplomatic Quarter underscores the importance of catering to international visitors and diplomatic missions, potentially increasing Riyadh's appeal as a global business hub. The project also highlights the growing trend of luxury and modern living spaces in the region, which could set a precedent for future developments.
