NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope has been transported from the Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This complex operation involved moving the telescope
in a specially designed portable clean room called the CHARIOT, ensuring it remained uncontaminated and at a stable temperature. The journey required careful planning to navigate under highway overpasses and through city streets, eventually reaching the port of Baltimore. From there, the telescope was transported by barge to Florida, where it will undergo final preparations for its upcoming launch.
