HIRE360, in collaboration with JPMorganChase, has marked a significant milestone in expanding Chicago's clean-energy workforce by graduating the first cohort of the Clean Energy Construction Trades Pathway
Program. Fifteen participants completed a comprehensive training program designed to prepare them for careers in construction, building operations, and renewable energy. The program included hands-on training in solar installation and energy-efficient building operations, along with industry-recognized certifications such as OSHA 30 and Forklift Operation. Participants also engaged in field training at Kankakee Community College and visited union training centers and active construction sites. The initiative aims to equip local residents with the skills needed to succeed in fast-growing trade fields, contributing to Chicago's transition to cleaner infrastructure.
