Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated the CG Semi Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facility in Sanand, Gujarat. During the event, he praised the significant contribution of
young workers, particularly women from remote and tribal areas, to India's burgeoning semiconductor industry. Modi described his interaction with the employees as a highlight of his visit, noting the remarkable spirit of the women workforce who have undergone training to contribute to the semiconductor sector.
