The Diocese of Wichita is set to open St. Philip Neri Seminary at the end of August, marking the culmination of over 20 years of planning and development. Bishop Carl A. Kemme announced the establishment of the seminary, named after the 16th-century priest
known for his dedication to forming priests and evangelizing. The seminary will replace the St. Joseph House of Formation, which began in 2017 as a two-year program and expanded to a full four-year college seminary by 2019. The seminary aims to foster priestly vocations and serve the dioceses of Wichita, Salina, and Dodge City.
