Alligator Energy has reached the final construction phases of its Samphire Uranium Project near Whyalla, South Australia. The company has received an in-situ recovery (ISR) pilot plant and is currently
conducting mechanical, electrical, and pipework installations. This follows the completion of earthmoving works and bund installation. The first results from the Field Recovery Trial (FRT) are anticipated between February and April 2026. CEO Andrea Marsland-Smith highlighted that Alligator is among a few uranium developers nearing production in Australia. The project is advancing alongside a Definitive Feasibility Study, mining lease approvals, and trial operational readiness planning. The Samphire Project aims to deliver a low-cost, low-impact ISR uranium operation, aligning with the increasing global demand for clean energy.
