What's Happening?
Abu Dhabi is preparing to launch its first vertiport network in 2026, aimed at supporting advanced air mobility across the emirate. The network will enable electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft to operate efficiently, promoting low-emission
travel and enhancing connectivity. The project is led by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, in collaboration with the General Civil Aviation Authority, Integrated Transport Centre, and Abu Dhabi Airports. The initiative is part of Abu Dhabi's strategy to diversify its economy through innovation and sustainable technologies.
