Oram Hotels, a San Diego-based hospitality collective, has announced the launch of an Artist-in-Residence program aimed at transforming its properties into cultural hubs. The initiative is spearheaded
by Jennifer Findley, the newly appointed Director of Arts & Culture, and Kevin Mansour, co-founder of Oram Hotels. The program will focus on showcasing art inspired by the local community and the hotels themselves, with Granger Hotel and The Guild serving as central points for artistic exchange. The collaboration includes partnerships with UC San Diego’s Stuart Collection, which will host visiting artists during their research and development phases. The first artist to participate is Los Angeles-based sculptor Max Hooper Schneider, who will advance a project to be realized on the UC San Diego campus. The program aims to foster community engagement through art and creativity, positioning San Diego as a hub for cultural exchange.
