Marlene Yvonne Ward, née Bennett, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on December 13, 2025, in Rochester, New York. Born in Hornell, Steuben County, she spent her early years in the Finger Lakes region near Keuka Lake. Marlene was married to Conrad
Wile Ward for 38 years, whom she met while working at Gleason Works in Rochester. She is survived by her children, Steven W. Ward and Stacey L. Ward, as well as her sister, brother, and grandchildren. Marlene was predeceased by her husband, parents, and several siblings. Known for her love of dogs and her talent in watercolor and oil painting, Marlene lived between The Villages in Florida and Rochester after her husband's death in 1994. A private celebration of her life is planned for a future date.
