What's Happening?
The Summer Youth Corps (SYC) program in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is providing college students with an opportunity to engage in community service while gaining professional growth. The 10-week program involves 13 college interns who are working with various
nonprofits in the area. The initiative aims to instill a passion for service among students, helping them grow both personally and professionally. Over the past 18 years, the program has seen 241 college students complete nearly 70,000 service hours across 42 participating nonprofits. The program integrates community service with instruction and reflection, enriching the learning experience and teaching civic responsibility.
