Sri City, a prominent industrial township in Visakhapatnam, has secured Rs 31,450 crore in new investments during the Partnership Summit 2025. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu virtually inaugurated five
new manufacturing units and laid the foundation for Raymond projects. The summit also saw the exchange of MoUs with 12 companies and the issuance of government orders to Daikin, Proterial (Metglas), and Sri City for its Phase 2 expansion. These developments are expected to create 1.1 lakh jobs, with 70,600 direct and 39,400 indirect employment opportunities. The Chief Minister praised Sri City as a 'Model of Industrial Excellence' and announced the allocation of an additional 2,500 acres to support its growth.
