What's Happening?
Marmin, a financial technology company under AJMS Global, has been accredited as a Pre-Approved Accredited Service Provider (ASP) for the UAE's e-invoicing rollout. This accreditation allows Marmin to support businesses in transitioning to mandatory e-invoicing,
which is part of the UAE's digital transformation and tax compliance strategy. The e-invoicing system requires businesses to issue invoices in a structured electronic format, aiming to improve transparency, reduce fraud, and streamline VAT reporting. Marmin's platform integrates with existing systems to facilitate real-time invoice generation and transmission, ensuring compliance with regional regulations. The initiative is set to begin with a pilot phase in July 2026, followed by a national rollout in 2027.
Why It's Important?
The accreditation of Marmin as a service provider for the UAE's e-invoicing rollout is a crucial step in the country's efforts to enhance digital compliance and streamline business transactions. By transitioning to electronic invoicing, the UAE aims to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance transparency in financial reporting. This move is expected to benefit businesses by simplifying invoicing processes and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. As e-invoicing becomes mandatory, companies like Marmin play a vital role in supporting businesses through this transition, potentially leading to increased demand for digital solutions and consulting services in the region.
