What's Happening?
Hope Field, a wiffle ball field at Annunciation Church and School in Minneapolis, has officially reopened following a comprehensive renovation. The project, which began in June and concluded in September, was fully funded by the Minnesota Twins, the Minnesota Twins Community
Fund, and the Pohlad family, alongside other partners including Mortenson, HGA, Target, U.S. Bank, The Toro Company, and Delta Dental of Minnesota. The upgrades to the field include grading, leveling, and resodding the existing space, as well as the installation of a new dirt infield, dugouts, bleachers, a moveable outfield fence, a scoreboard, and improved lighting. This renovation aims to provide a renewed space for the Annunciation community, particularly after a tragic incident at the site over a year ago that resulted in two fatalities and multiple injuries.
