SCAN Industrial Services (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. has initiated a five-year partnership with Cambodia's Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training to enhance vocational training in the country. The agreement, signed on July 8, aims to upgrade the Institute
of Technology of Cambodia's Metal Engineering and Sheet Metal Welding Department. This initiative is part of Cambodia's broader strategy to expand its manufacturing sector and meet the growing demand for skilled technical workers. The partnership will modernize technical training programs, introduce internationally benchmarked curricula, and strengthen instructor capabilities through a Train-the-Trainer program in collaboration with Danish technical schools. The program is designed to produce certified Cambodian industrial workers by combining classroom-based education with structured apprenticeships, creating a direct pathway from training to employment.
