Cissna Park High School's volleyball team won its first-ever IHSA Class 1A state championship, defeating Stockton with scores of 25-11 and 25-14. This victory marks the culmination of three consecutive trips to the state tournament, with the team previously
finishing fourth in 2023 and third in 2024. The Timberwolves, led by head coach Josh Landon, showcased exceptional performance and teamwork throughout the season. Senior outside hitter Addison Lucht and other key players like Sophie Duis and Josie Neukomm played pivotal roles in the championship win.
