Sophie Martin and Akshay Sharma, high school students from Corona del Mar and Irvine, have organized healthcare fairs through their nonprofit, Project FairCare Health. These events, held in Santa Ana, provide free healthcare services such as doctor consultations,
dental screenings, and blood pressure measurements. The fairs also offer food distributions, attracting local healthcare partners like Allina Health and Community Health Initiative of Orange County. The initiative was inspired by personal experiences and aims to provide preventive healthcare to underserved communities, ensuring they have access to essential services.
