What's Happening?
Perth Airport has partnered with DXC Technology to design and commission over 70 IT and OT systems for its new terminal project. DXC Technology will serve as the master systems integrator, overseeing the integration of advanced technologies such as AI,
cloud computing, and cybersecurity into various airport operations. These systems will enhance passenger processing, baggage tracking, security screening, building management, digital signage, public Wi-Fi, and operational control. The new terminal project includes expanding the existing T1 International terminal and constructing a new domestic terminal to relocate Qantas Group operations. This initiative is part of Perth Airport's 'One Airport' strategy, aiming to centralize all commercial airline operations for improved efficiency and traveler experience. The new terminal is scheduled to open in 2031.
