What's Happening?
NASA is seeking creative partners to help illuminate the stories behind its various missions, including the Artemis Moon missions, nuclear propulsion advancements, and aeronautics projects. The agency has issued an Announcement for Proposals, inviting
filmmakers, documentarians, songwriters, storytellers, poets, and other creatives to submit their proposals by June 30. NASA aims to establish up to 10 partnerships through unfunded Space Act Agreements. These collaborations will focus on sharing insights and narratives related to NASA's ongoing and future missions, such as the Artemis III mission in 2027, the Artemis IV lunar landing in 2028, and the development of a Moon Base. Additionally, the agency is advancing nuclear propulsion with the Space Reactor-1 Freedom mission to Mars in 2028. While the opportunity primarily targets U.S. creators, proposals with a minority of international participants will also be considered.
