Joseph Francis Amoroso, a respected educator and coach, passed away at the age of 84 in Dublin, Ohio. Born in Rochester, New York, Amoroso was known for his dedication to teaching and coaching, having worked at Aquinas High School and the Greece Central
School District. He was a beloved cross country and track coach at Greece Arcadia, where he inspired many young athletes. Amoroso's life was marked by his love for running, completing several marathons and triathlons, and his passion for nature and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, and his eldest son, Joseph E. Amoroso. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for June 4, 2026, at St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church in Dublin, Ohio.
