which celebrates translated fiction. As a result of this funding, the prize money for the winning book will double from £50,000 to £100,000, to be shared equally between the author and translator(s). The announcement coincides with the prize's 10th anniversary, highlighting its role in increasing sales of translated fiction in the UK by 31% since its inception. The funding will also support initiatives such as gifting shortlisted books to libraries, improving access to nominated books through prison reading programs, and supporting Braille and audio editions of winning books.
