What's Happening?
The John and Annie Glenn Museum in New Concord and the National Road & Zane Grey Museum in Norwich are actively seeking volunteers as they prepare to open for the 2026 season starting May 1. These museums, managed by the Museum Association of East Muskingum
and owned by Ohio History Connection, are looking for new volunteer tour guides and actors to enrich the visitor experience. The museums will operate from May through October, with specific hours set for Wednesday through Sunday. Volunteers can choose to work weekly, biweekly, or during scheduled group tours. Operations Director Debbie Allender emphasized the enjoyment volunteers derive from their roles and the need for more individuals to join. Training sessions are scheduled for April 11 at both museum locations, with flexibility for additional training times if necessary.
