Myriad Uranium has secured approval from the Bureau of Land Management to conduct an extensive drilling campaign at the Copper Mountain Project in Wyoming, USA. The company plans to drill up to 222 holes, with 50 holes carrying over from the previous
season at the Canning prospect. The drilling will also target other areas including Mint, Arrowhead, Lucky Cliff, and Gem prospects, all of which have known uranium mineralization. Historical production at the Arrowhead Mine area has yielded 500,000 pounds of uranium at 1,500 parts per million triuranium octoxide from underground workings during the 1950s and 1960s. CEO Thomas Lamb emphasized the importance of the permit, which allows the company to continue drilling and confirm the project's potential. The current price of uranium is reported at US$79.50 per pound.
